About Us

SVERAK fIfe registered bengal cat breeder

We have had cats for over 15 years, and during this time, we have gained both experience and knowledge about their behavior and needs. Rebecca, who is an educated animal caregiver and has worked in pet stores, has a deep understanding of a cat's well-being.

Over the years, we’ve had several cat breeds, but it was the Bengal that truly captured our hearts. The active, curious, and energetic nature of the Bengal, along with its sociable personality and ability to be both adventurous and affectionate, was the perfect match for us. It’s a cat we can take on trips and adventures, and one that loves to be part of all family activities.

Rebecca & Tobias Rydgren

We, Rebecca and Tobias Rydgren, run the breeding together, and our 9-year-old son plays an important role in the process. He happily helps take care of and raise the kittens. Rebecca is an educated web developer and works as a web manager, while Tobias is a process operator at AstraZeneca.

Leo Spirits Breeding

Our Goals

Our goal is to breed confident, healthy, and breed-typical cats with a focus on silver and silver snow. We aim for cats with a pure, cool silver coat that gives an elegant and distinct appearance. Since we strive to produce beautiful cats for cat shows, rosettes with good flow and strong contrasts are an important trait for us.

In addition, we aim to produce cats with a wild look, evoking the feeling of owning a tame leopard. This vision is reflected in our prefix, Leo Spirits, meaning "leopard soul."

To achieve these goals, we have imported cats from other countries and carefully selected individuals that meet our high standards.

County Administrative Board

Nyköping

Our cattery is approved by the County Administrative Board of Nyköping to have more than three litters per year and to sell them.
This means that our home and cats have been inspected to ensure they live in good and safe conditions.
We strive to provide our cats and kittens with a great start in life and a home where they can thrive..

SVERAK / FIFe

Sveriges Kattklubbars Riksförbund

As a SVERAK-registered breeder, we comply with FIFe’s and SVERAK’s statutes and regulations, in addition to complying with other applicable rules and laws.

Health

We perform health tests through MyCatDNA, conduct regular health check-ups, and perform HCM scans on our cats.

Foster Family

Idag har vi en fantastisk fodervärd där två av våra avelshonor bor. Att samarbeta med fodervärdar gör det möjligt för oss att hålla kattgrupperna mindre, vilket gör att vi kan ge varje katt mer tid, engagemang, omsorg och kärlek. I framtiden planerar vi att söka fler fodervärdar för att fortsätta säkerställa att våra katter får bästa möjliga omsorg.
